Infectious Awareables (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects the privacy of homeowners, household members, and visitors who use infectious-awareables.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we may collect in connection with home-improvement enquiries, how we use it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It should be read with our Terms & Services.
This static website validates forms in your browser and shows a thank-you message. It does not, by itself, send your data to a remote database. If you later connect the forms to email or a hosting form handler, that handler must follow this Policy. Until then, treat anything you type as remaining on your device unless you copy it elsewhere.
Infectious Awareables is the controller of personal data collected for quotes, project administration, aftercare, and optional newsletters about kitchens, baths, flooring, painting, lighting, and whole-home care. We do not publish a public street address or telephone number. Privacy questions should be sent through the Contact Us form or to hello@infectious-awareables.com with the subject “Privacy”.
Name, email address, optional household or company name, and a mobile number you choose to provide so a representative can arrange a walkthrough. We do not require a postal address on this website and we ask you not to include one in forms unless a later project contract needs it for delivery of materials.
Room types (kitchen, bath, living room), descriptions of finishes, photos of existing conditions, preferred colours, budget ranges, and timing. Photographs may show interiors, fixtures, and occasionally people in the background. Please crop images if you do not want faces or documents in frame.
Email address, name, and topics you select (for example kitchen ideas, paint care, flooring maintenance). Unsubscribe requests include your email and an optional reason so we can improve frequency and content.
When the site is hosted, the host may log IP address, browser type, device, referring page, and timestamps. We do not use those logs to profile you for advertising. Fonts and icon libraries loaded from third-party networks may receive your IP address under their own policies.
Messages you send, snag lists, variation approvals, and testimonials. If you share another person’s email (for example a partner who must approve a kitchen layout), you confirm they expect us to write to them about that project.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use enquiry photos to train public generative models. We may show completed rooms in our gallery when you have not objected, as described in the Terms.
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: (a) steps needed to enter a contract or perform a home-improvement contract; (b) legitimate interests in running a studio, preventing fraud, and keeping occupied homes safe during works; (c) consent for newsletters and optional testimonials; (d) legal obligations such as tax records for paid projects and health-and-safety records for site work. You may withdraw consent for marketing without affecting a live construction contract.
We share information only as needed:
Social share buttons send the page URL to the network you choose. We do not control what those networks store after you click.
If a host or email provider stores data in another country, we will use appropriate safeguards required by applicable law, such as contractual clauses. Project photos of your home should not be transferred to public file-sharing links by our crew without your knowledge.
Quote enquiries that do not become a project are kept only as long as needed to answer you and to defend against a later dispute, typically up to twenty-four (24) months, then deleted or anonymised. Contracts, invoices, and as-built notes for completed kitchens, baths, or other works are kept for the warranty and tax period required by applicable law. Newsletter lists are kept until you unsubscribe. Unsubscribe records are kept long enough to prove we honoured the request and to prevent accidental re-enrolment.
Site logs, if any, are rotated on the host’s standard cycle. Backup copies fade as backups expire.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures: limited staff access to enquiry mailboxes, unique credentials, and a culture of not posting floor plans of occupied homes on public social feeds. No method of transmission is perfectly secure. Do not send payment card numbers through the website forms. Do not include copies of identity documents in the message field.
Because this deployment is static, the greatest risk is often the device you type on. Clear the form if you share a computer. Use a private window if needed.
The current static pages do not set advertising cookies. If a future analytics or chat tool is added, we will update this Policy and, where required, display a consent banner. Browser local storage is not used for tracking. Social networks may set cookies if you are already logged in when you share a page.
Our services are for adult homeowners and authorised agents. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If a photo you send includes a child, we will not publish that photo. Ask us to delete it if it was sent in error.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to personal data we hold, correction of inaccurate details, deletion, restriction, objection to processing based on legitimate interests, and a portable copy of data you provided. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your jurisdiction. To exercise rights, use the Contact Us form and describe the request. We may need to verify that the email matches the enquiry.
Marketing rights: subscribe only if you want finish tips and project stories. Unsubscribe at any time on the Unsubscribe page. Transactional messages about a live remodel (schedule, snags, variations) are not marketing and may continue until the project is closed.
We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal effects. Quote reviews are performed by people. Form validation is a simple completeness and format check in your browser.
Font and icon CDNs, social networks, and any future map or payment tools are independent. Their privacy notices apply when you leave our pages. We choose providers that are commonly used for professional websites, but we cannot audit every third-party change.
Floor plans, alarm keypad locations, spare-key notes, and occupancy schedules are sensitive. Please do not put them in a public form field. Share them later through a method a supervisor agrees with you. We train crews not to discuss household routines outside the job.
If a project involves a rental, disclose that fact so we do not email a tenant about owner-only decisions or vice versa.
We will update this Policy when services, hosting, or law change. The date at the top will be revised. Material changes to newsletter practices will be mentioned in a subsequent email if you are subscribed.
Privacy and data requests: hello@infectious-awareables.com or the Contact Us form. Unsubscribe: the Unsubscribe page. Terms of work: the Terms & Services page. We aim to acknowledge privacy requests promptly after a representative reviews the form.
Your home is private. Our job is to improve rooms, not to turn household details into marketing lists.
Thank You! one of our representative will contact you
